The “Dakar” name and logo (cheich) are protected trademarks and the exclusive property of the Dakar organiser. Their use is therefore strictly limited to : - the Dakar organiser - the Dakar official sponsors and licensees - the Competitors/Teams solely within the framework of the Shield.
The Shield is specifically dedicated to the Teams and Competitors, within the terms and conditions of the Dakar Competitors/Teams Guidelines and Regulations of the Event.
The logo (cheich) may only be used within the context of the Shield, in no way on its own.
The commercial exploitation of the « Dakar » term, of the logo (cheich) and of the Shield by the Competitors/Teams is strictly forbidden.
